About Jacqui
Jacqui’s experience spans over 20 years of working with children, adolescents and adults as she walks along side them to explore different ways of being in their lives. Jacqui’s group work has taken her into schools and community settings (including at risk youth and the disability sector) with the facilitation of workshops and projects to engage, empower and educate within a therapeutic space. Jacqui has worked for a number of years as telephone counsellor at PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia). Jacqui's private practice has had extensive involvement with adolescents and adults through a various government and non government agencies including Victims of Crime, various community service agencies, and the NDIS. Jacqui holds a Master Degree in Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy from the MIECAT Institute. She has a background in teaching including Rudolf Steiner training, and has undertaken extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (including Trauma Informed Practice) and training in Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, ASIST (Suicide Intervention), and Mindfulness. |

Jacqui would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which she lives.
She would also like to pay respect to the Wurundjeri Elders, past and present, and extend this respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait people from other communities.
She would finally like to acknowledge the ongoing trauma of First Nation people.
